This system would serve as a criminal justice tracking system and perform these functions:
  • E-sentence calculation
  • Risk assessment
  • Medical records
  • Disciplinary tracking
  • Managing sentence credits and behavior of inmates,in addition to vocational and educational programs.
Crime Relationship Management
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is generally used for sales and marketing by organizations but this time the purpose would be different. Microsoft also wouldn’t be expecting this kind of deployment and customization it’s CRM.
The department is migrating to cloud based CRM system from the age old mainframe systems.40% of the process is done and soon it would be deployed completely within few months.
Once the whole migration is finished the mainframe system will be shut down. Their main focus would to save money and help identify ways to improve outcomes for offenders and  reduce the recidivism rate,”
